Founded and led by Laura Kinniburgh, Cherry Pop Events brings over 20 years of professional event experience to every celebration, combining structured logistics with a distinctive vintage-inspired aesthetic.

Cherry Pop Events serves couples and clients primarily throughout Southern California, including the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding regions.

Concept development, venue coordination, vendor management, discreet execution, and coordination of photography or videography.

Micro-Wedding & Micro-Event Planning (Up to 30 Guests)

Full service planning for intimate weddings and small-scale events.

Service includes:
Budget guidance, vendor coordination, design and styling guidance, timeline and floor plan creation, and full day-of execution.

Starting at: $3,000

Best for:
Clients hosting intimate celebrations who want full professional support without large-scale production.


Partial Wedding Planning

Planning support for clients who have already begun the planning process and need professional guidance to complete it.

Service includes:
Budget management, vendor recommendations, design consultation, monthly planning check-ins, RSVP management, rehearsal coordination, and full day-of coordination.

Starting at: $3,000

Best for:
Couples who want structured guidance and professional oversight while remaining involved in the planning process.


Full Service Wedding Planning

Comprehensive wedding planning from initial concept through wedding day execution.

Service includes:
Budget creation and management, vendor sourcing and coordination, design development, ongoing planning support, rehearsal coordination, and full on-site wedding day management.

Starting at: $7,500

Best for:
Couples seeking complete planning support and a fully managed planning experience.


Day-Of Wedding Coordination

Professional execution of a wedding day for clients who have completed the planning process.

Service includes:
Pre-event consultation, timeline creation, vendor confirmation, venue liaison, and on-site coordination for the wedding day.

Starting at: $1,800

Best for:
Couples who planned their wedding and want a professional to manage logistics and execution on the day of the event.


Private Event & Backyard Celebration Coordination

Coordination services for non-wedding events such as birthdays, graduations, showers, and anniversaries.

Service includes:
Pre-event consultation, setup assistance, vendor check-in, on-site coordination, and post-event cleanup.

Starting at: $1,050

Best for:
Hosts who want to enjoy their event without managing logistics, vendors, or cleanup.


Services Not Provided

Cherry Pop Events does not provide:

  • Venue ownership or operation
  • Catering or bar services
  • Floral design or décor rentals
  • DIY setup labor outside agreed coordination scope
  • Budget-only consulting without event coordination

Vendor recommendations are provided, but contracts are executed directly between clients and vendors.

We worked with Laura and her team this past weekend 10/10/25. Laura had a plan A and a plan B in case we had rain in the forecast. Her team was non-stop since we arrived at 12:30 PM and continued to after the time we left 10:00 PM. I had thrown several parties myself over the years so I was hesitant to hire a party planner for my son’s first birthday party. I’m so glad that I decided to hire Laura because she helped me with everything from shopping, ordering, setting up, and tearing down, cleaning, etc. She did more than I expected (including calling a nurse when my son started vomiting!) and I do plan to hire her again for future parties!
